Throughout its thirty years of existence, Caffè Coloniale has been firmly established among the best in all of Italy. The reason is not only the exotic decoration or lush oleanders used to separate the tables of the café from the street but also a wide range of “colonial goods”.
Among the various sweets that you can take with you, we recommend you to try a chocolate bar with Amarone, the most famous Veronese wine. There are also 50 varieties of tea, which is quite a rare thing in Italy, and, of course, many types of coffee made with 6 kinds of Arabica. You can taste Captain’s, Colonel’s, and even King’s coffee here and treat yourselves to something special.
The selection of fresh pastries and cakes, which are baked at the premises, changes every day, but the Veronese usually order a local delicacy: tiramisu with chocolate-nut cream Nutella. We recommend stopping by Caffè Coloniale after 6 PM when an aperitif with a special snack is served there.
